Bronze Composite Decking Capped Edge Cover

BRONZE MIGHTY CROWN Capped Edge Covers are 3660 X 50  X 50 mm.

As shown in the next image, Edge Covers are used mainly when you have exposed edges of decking areas that you would like to finish off with a matching or contrasting "L" profile edge. When mitred at the corner ends they create a slim "picture frame" around  your composite decking area, steps  planters and anything else you are making with composite boards.

Quantities

To work out the number of Edge Covers you need simply measure the total outer edge lengths you require in  linear metres, divide by 3.66 and “round up”, this will give you the number of Edge Covers to order.

Installation

To secure your Edge Covers on top of your decking edge use an exterior glue suitable for plastic adhesion and /or secure with screws through the top and into the decking , you could buy our matching "fascia screws" for this purpose, however please ensure you make a pilot hole, 6 or 7 mm wide, to allow for expansion and contraction.

Colour

MIGHTY CROWN has a very high fade resistance. We have had all the Mighty Crown installed in our outdoor display area here for over a year and, so far, they remain exactly the same colour as they started. 

When it comes to choosing colours please do bear in mind that the colour you see on your screen will depend on your setting so if you are looking for a particular shade then we advise you come and see our displays here in Whitstable or order a sample to check it is the colour you are looking for.
